Lifting / DAYONE
When you notice facial sagging, the precise direction of the lift matters more than simply pulling harder.

(01)AT A GLANCE
The treatment's role
Thread lifting uses absorbable threads to lift and secure sagging tissue. It differs from energy-based treatments; the area and direction are planned before the number of threads.
Suitability, methods, and expected changes vary by person.(02)YOUR CONCERN
From the small changes you notice,
a consultation begins.
- 01
When both cheeks and jawline feel saggy
- 02
When you want to lift sagging areas before filling hollows
- 03
When you want a softer look while preserving your distinctive appearance
STRUCTURE BEFORE ENERGY
Whether treatment is needed is decided after consultation.
(03)UNDERSTANDING
Sagging and hollowness can occur in the same face. Distinguishing the position of sagging tissue from excess volume helps us discuss which areas to lift and which to fill.

Direction of sagging
We assess front and side views and moving expressions, distinguishing desired contours from current tissue condition.
We assess the desired contour alongside the actual tissue condition.

Remaining volume
We do not treat sagging and hollowing as the same concern. We assess remaining volume and surrounding balance.
Coverage and depth are considered separately for each area.

Skin firmness
We assess skin condition alongside facial contours. Treatment roles and order are decided in consultation.
Before adding treatment, we reassess whether the next step is needed.

Between contours you want to changeand the self you want to preserve.

Before deciding, explore the doctor's perspective through their explanation. Video cases and individual outcomes may differ.
Watch the doctor's explanation(07)BEFORE YOU DECIDE
Specific explanations about your condition and plan
continue in consultation with your doctor.
01Are more threads always better?+
Not necessarily. Everyone needs a different amount, so a consultation with an experienced doctor comes first.
02How much pain or discomfort should I expect?+
Discomfort varies by person, treatment method, area and intensity, but it is generally less painful than getting a dental implant.
03How should I plan recovery and daily activities?+
You can usually return to work the next day wearing a mask. Makeup can be applied after 24 hours, and a full return to everyday activities is usually possible after one week, or two weeks at most.
04How long do results last?+
With a touch-up, the results are usually still better than before thread lifting even after 18 months.
05How are session count and intervals decided?+
Visiting every six months after treatment and adding only the treatments you truly need, a little at a time, after consulting your doctor helps maintain results very well. If six months feels too frequent, annual visits can also support maintenance. However, after more than two years, it is often necessary to start over. Maintenance often involves treatments different from the first procedure, and for thread lifting, fewer threads are usually needed.
06Can I combine this with other treatments?+
Other treatments can be performed on the same day as thread lifting. If you prefer not to have everything on one day, you can have other treatments at any time from one month after the procedure.
