(01)AT A GLANCE
The treatment's role
InMode uses radiofrequency to induce fat cell death. Its FX handpiece targets the fat layer, while FORMA aims to improve skin firmness. The sequence and duration are adjusted to the area and treatment goals.
Suitability, methods, and expected changes vary by person.(02)YOUR CONCERN

STRUCTURE BEFORE ENERGY
Whether treatment is needed is decided after consultation.
(03)UNDERSTANDING
Similar jawline concerns can involve different proportions of fat and skin laxity. Separating these factors helps determine treatment areas and handpiece roles.

Direction of sagging
We assess front and side views and moving expressions, distinguishing desired contours from current tissue condition.
We assess the desired contour alongside the actual tissue condition.

Remaining volume
We do not treat sagging and hollowing as the same concern. We assess remaining volume and surrounding balance.
Coverage and depth are considered separately for each area.

Skin firmness
We assess skin condition alongside facial contours. Treatment roles and order are decided in consultation.
Before adding treatment, we reassess whether the next step is needed.

(06)BEFORE YOU DECIDE
Specific explanations about your condition and plan
continue in consultation with your doctor.
01Do I need both FX and FORMA?+
The two handpieces serve different roles and are not always combined. Whether to use one or both depends on the assessment of fat and skin firmness.
02How much pain or discomfort should I expect?+
There is a slightly hot sensation, but the procedure is not particularly painful. Numbing cream is usually either unnecessary or all that is needed.
03How should I plan recovery and daily activities?+
Thread and device treatments have different recovery processes. Swelling, bruising, or discomfort may occur, so tell us about important plans in advance. We discuss recovery time according to the method and area.
04How long do results last?+
Results from one session last 1–3 months. Three sessions spaced one month apart may last six months or longer.
05How are session count and intervals decided?+
The same count or interval is not set for everyone at the outset. Your doctor explains your goals and plan at the first visit, and the next session is timed after reviewing recovery and progress.
06Can I combine this with other treatments?+
Thread lifting, energy treatments, and volume support have different roles. We distinguish sagging, hollowing, and skin condition to assess whether one treatment is enough or a sequence is needed.
